Thanks, Richard :) You are right, in the mean time I found the error in my code: Instead of ..strcpy(line,"this is a file"); f = fopen (line,"rb"); I had ..strcpy(line,"\"this is a file\""); f = fopen(line,"rb"); Andrzej :)
