To use the built in ftp client on windoze, I have the following file: open ftp.telusplanet.net anonymous myname AT mymaddress binary cd pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2gnu which is mounted as x:\djgppftp.txt. I then issue the command: ftp -s:x:\djgppftp.txt and the system does the rest. I can then download as I wish with get and mget commands. The file structure is as follows: open pick the appropriate location here anonymous (this is the user name for log on) convention says use e-mail address as password binary (lets not foul files by converting line endings) cd pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2gnu (or wherever you want) I actually use 4dos, and the alias "ftpdjgpp" does it all. -- Chuck F (cbfalconer AT yahoo DOT com) (cbfalconer AT worldnet DOT att DOT net) Available for consulting/temporary embedded and systems. <http://cbfalconer.home.att.net> USE worldnet address!
