Hmmm ... maybe I'm perfect! come on, of course I add, modify and delete entries
there, I use RHIDE to develop SETEdit (part of RHIDE) and I use RHIDE for it
since 1996.

You don't need to do it if you just need to change an entry. This arrow shows a
history of all values.

Just don't click there! if you want to change something, use the arrows and
Backspace/delete. Please read the docs, this input holds a space separated list
and what you get with the arrow button is a history of the last used values,
not another values in use.
