I've experienced weird problems like this with Perl as well. I think I reported the problems to djgpp-workers, but I can't remember. I remember having to run some regexp on @INC to convert the paths somehow. Oh, here we go - I added the foreach ... { ... } loop in the BEGIN below to the start of $DJDIR/bin/automake: BEGIN { my $prefix = "/dev/env/DJDIR"; my $perllibdir = $ENV{'perllibdir'} || "${prefix}/share/automake"; unshift @INC, "$perllibdir"; foreach $inc (@INC) { $inc =~ s!/djdir/!/DJDIR/!g; } } But it looks like this replacement isn't needed for deckerben, since DJDIR is always uppercase is in his report. deckerben, which version of Perl are you running?
