Huh? Try running the configure script with the '--enable-mpbsd' option. When
you do a make, libmp.a should be built. Take a look at the readme.djg file for
the options I used, when I built GMP. As you can see below, there is a libmp.a
file in the binary distribution of GMP.
mpfr is something different. I don't have time to find what it is, but you can
find more about it in the GMP mail archives at http://www.swox.com/ .
