Note that it is endl not end1 ... that is, the last character should be a lowercase L rather than the digit one. try compiling #include <iostream> int main(void) { std::cout << "Hello!" << std::endl; return 0; } using gpp -Wall -o hello.exe hello.c and report any specific problems you encounter.
