>Hi >After typing-in the 'Hello World' program and saving it with a .cpp extension >in the bin, I get this error message on trying to compile : "gcc.exe : >Environment variable DJGPP not defined". This is my first day in 'C++'. Any >help in resolving the problem is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Looks like you are usung Win 2K or XP with an old version of gcc that is not aware or Win 2K or XP. You should also make sure you are using updated DJDEV203, GCC*, GPP*, BNU* files which support Win2K (they should be dated in December 2001 or later). If not, grab new versions from Simtel. Andrew
