You should include errors messages in your mail so it would be possible to help you efficiently. i had many trouble when i tried to install a new version of allegro a few month ago, but i solved that by downloading latest version of djgpp (and related libraries). I think it can help you, especially if your error message talk about an unknown assembler instruction. Cyberdivad http://www.cyberdivad.com "Hewko, Richard" <Hewkorad AT shaw DOT ca> a écrit dans le message news: 000a01c18ab7$77244b00$f1684618 AT ek DOT shawcable DOT net... I am a small college professor and am planning to use djgpp and allegro in my coming C++ class . However, I am having trouble getting the system operational. When I make allegro I get a series of errors which seem to be assembler based. If I try to use my own libraries, the system can't find them ( they were compiled under the older version of djgpp) when I try to recompile them, I get assembler errors. have you changed assemblers again? I would appreciate quick response as I am having to get the system operational by the 4th Jan. I know I am doing something silly, or not doing something obvious. richard hewko, phd college of the rockies, canada
