Hi,
Im relatively new to DJGPP and i am using it on a Win2000 platform installed
at university. I know DJGPP is not fully functioning in win2000 but im not
allowed to install anything else.
The problem is that im having to compile software written about 5 years ago
on a sun machine. I can get it to compile and run on win2000 but after some
time into the program, some of the calcutlations come out with answers of
NaN. The software runs a simulation of a transister and incorporates many
iterations, they seem to start of okay, giving sensible answers but about
20-30 mins into the running the strange results appear. I dont think its a
problem with the code since it works fine on a friends linux machine.
I must apologise for not being able to give much information about what
causes this fault since the software is huge, the program takes about 1.5
hours to run on my P4 1700, and im not very far into undestanding what the
guy wrote yet.
I recently tried the win2k djdev204_alpha_win2k.zip which resulted in the
NaN`s coming very much sooner during the program.
Has anyone else had problems with NaN outputs, im not sure whether it is a
bug with DJGPP or a windows problem?
I can supply a copy of the source code if it would make the problem clearer.
