Working in WindoZ. Want easy ports to UNIX (X11) and Mac.
Need to draw (on screen and printers) graphs composed of boxes and lines
representing asymmetric, binary trees.
Graphs need to be scalable vector-graphics not bit-maps.
The nodes need to be 'hot' so when user hovers/clicks I can put up new info
on screen.
My language of choice is C with C++ a close second. XML is permissable but
then I need another library to render that. Besides, I am alergic to JAVA.
Found Zodius and g2 on Sourceforge but authors are dead and I can't dl g2.
Zodius came in ok but README says "not complete code yet."
Allegro has a way to draw my stuff but seems to be major overkill unless
there is a simple way to downsize the thing.
Found svg.com but everyone there is working in xml which I wish to avoid
unless there is a library for supporting that.
Any joy?
