Although I have set LFN=Y   (and it works for opening files with long
names) the commande "argv[0]" does not yield the full path of the
executable but, for example:

D:\EMTEX\LTX2RTF\SRC-GCC\zzz-xxx-qqq-ttt>ltx2rtf kkk-zzz-ttt-qqq.tex  #
ltx2rtf is in the current directory
d:/emtex/ltx2rtf/src-gcc/zzz-xx~1/ltx2rtf.exe:                        #
argv[0] returns .../zzz-xx~1/,
                                                                      #
not zzz-xxx-qqq-ttt
