This is indeed the source of your problems: you unzipped with WinZip,
didn't you? Well, don't.
The best solution for your trouble would be to remove the entire tree
of unzipped directories, then unzip everything again, this time using
the unzip32.exe program that is available from the same site where you
downloaded DJGPP.
Oh, and these packages are not the latest versions, so download the
latest ones before you re-install:
bnu281b (get bnu2112b.zip)
gcc2952b (get gcc2953b.zip and gpp2953b.zip)
gdb418b (get gdb500b.zip)
mak3781b (get mak3791b.zip)
