Hello,

A small question. How can I set fignore for bash? In my _bashrc file I
have

  FIGNORE=.o:.O:.obj:.OBJ:\~
  fignore=.o:.O:.obj:.OBJ:\~
  export FIGNORE fignore

and when I say "set | grep -i fignore" I got

FIGNORE='.o:.O:.obj:.OBJ:~'
fignore='.o:.O:.obj:.OBJ:~'

I don't know what to try now. Is there anything that I missed?

Thank you very much.

$ bash --version
GNU bash, version 2.04.7(1)-release (i386-pc-msdosdjgpp)
