What exactly does ``didn't seem to work'' mean?  Can you post a short
test program, the command line you used to compile and link it, and
the result of running symify on the traceback from that program?

No.  In particular, symify works for me with GCC 2.95.3.

None of them.  symify comes with djdevNNN.zip.
