Of course, you can use it: fire up GDB, load your program (don't even
run it, just load it into the debugger), and then type:
list *0x12345678
If this address is in one of your functions that were compiled with
-g, GDB will show you the source line where this address belongs. If
it's in a library function, you'll see the function's name (IIRC).
