I recently downloaded and installed djgpp on my laptop in MS-DOS v6.22, and
use djgpp and rhide to write and debug C/C++ programs. Sometimes when I
start or exit rhide, my laptop will freeze up, crashing DOS and not even
giving me a C: prompt, with this ugly screen where it appears that half of
the text vertically on the screen has been transposed to the right side of
the screen, where it sort of jitters with instability. Is there something
I'm doing wrong, or is this a bug with rhide? I'm running djgpp/rhide on my
laptop, a celeron 600 MHz, 192 MB RAM, 32 GB hard drive Dell Inspiron 3800
on a 2 GB FAT16 partition.
Thanks a lot for any help anyone can offer.
