Hi, Assuming you downloaded enough of DJGPP's bits and pieces using the Zip Picker, you should be able to compile a C program using gcc myfile.c -o myfile.exe On the other hand, if you wish to get fresh with DJGPP's tools and components, you'll find most of them in the DJGPP\bin directory. As DJGPP is a port of GCC, or GPP as it stands, GCC and GPP are found in the \bin directory. Cheers, - Lionel Brits <Wlidman AT aol DOT com> wrote in message news:9d DOT 16fd1d9a DOT 285ea007 AT aol DOT com... > i finished the installation and the changing of the autoexec.bat and i dont > know what or where djgpp is and it is in the folder c:\djgpp > is there supposed to be a djgpp.exe file or what how do i run it > Sincerely > Chris McGuire
