That's wrong, you need to supply some command line parameters, like input files, output file, etc. For example, the following will compile "hello.c" into "hello.exe" gcc -o hello.exe hello.c For more information type : info gcc Perhaps you'll feel more confortable with RHIDE (http://www.simtel.net/gnudlpage.php?product=/gnu/djgpp/v2apps/rh1478b.zip&n ame=rh1478b.zip) HTH, Norberto
