Then I think we should improve setdjgpp.bat a bit and advertise that as
the recommended solution for Windows ME (via the "CMD line" property of
the DOS box).

It's hard to say, because the NTVDM bug is such a show-stopper that I
don't think any serious DJGPP user ever lived to tell the story. One
thing is sure: you don't need the LFN TSR, since W2K supports the LFN
API. But there are numerous other NT-related bugs (see section 3.3 of
the FAQ) which potentially are still there in W2K.
