> I'm using gcc 2.7.2.1 with (recently installed) binutils 2.10; could It depends on gcc and djgpp, not binutils. Old gccs expect djgpp's specs file to define __DJGPP, but newer djgpp's expect gcc to include <sys/version.h>. So, an old gcc with a new djgpp causes the problem.
