Hello Rafal, 

I think, it is better if you ask this question in the Allegro-Mailinglist.
I am running Allegro under Debian 2.1 (2.0.36) and 2.2 (2.2.18pre21) and 
it works fine with a Matroy Millenium MGA 2/4MB and Millenium II 4MB.
