How does one know if a file is ALREADY in USE by some application BEFORE any actual attempt to open or access that file? My Builder application seems to be acting very irratically because its trying to access a file which is already opened by another application -- so I need to be able to detect that.... would there be a try...catch for fopen or FileOpen for such issues?
