With a computer with more that 30 Gbytes if performed successively
"df"and "dir". The results are quite different:

It appears that df does not display what is actually used, and the
number of megabytes is truncated to a power of 2, minus one.

Note that my installation has been taken from simtel.net 3 days ago...
