C questions are appropriate in comp.lang.c and comp.lang.c.moderated
C++ questions are appropriate in comp.lang.c++ and
comp.lang.c++.moderated
Beginners' questions in either language are welcome in
alt.lang.learn.c-c++
There is no such thing a C/C++ and you WILL be flamed for using that
expression. These are newsgroups and you may be flamed for calling them
lists. No matter which NG you use, check the FAQs and watch the NG
("lurk") for a while before posting.
In all cases, these are language-specific. If you have a question that
is actually about windows, dos, unix, etc. or about algorithms which are
not language-specific or abour hardware-specific issues such as
graphics, you will be redirected. Such redirection is meant as helpful.
