Noticed on Gamasutra there is a nice article entitled 'Automating the Build
Process' by a Francis Irving.  It includes details of using BASH, CVS, Grep
and several other Unix tools, as well as Perl.  Very good article and an
enjoyable read, as well as a good advert for Unix ports!
