I had the same very problem (PC/104 card 386SX-40 CPU with 4MB RAM &
DiskOnChip). I think, that it is because my app is too big to fit into the
main memory (it requires about 4-5 MB according to RHIDE), since when I
switched to a nicer card (Cyrix-266, 32MB RAM) everything began to work
fine.
