You must have misread those instructions (or used incorrect ones),
then.  On an NT system you can not use long filenames --- M$ in their
infinite "wisdom" have decided that DOS programs aren't worthy of
being granted access to them.  You have to use a short-filename-only
unzipping method, in particular.
