I want to move from rsxntdj to either of the above, but I'd like a
better idea of which is better before I spend time on downloading the
necessary files.
all I know so far is from a little propaganda blurb on the mingw32 page
that states that cygwin has a unix-compatability layer involved, so the
app is a little slower.
I don't really need unix apps nor unix compatability, so is mingw32 the
way to go?
I was happy with rsxntdj, but since installed the new version, I have
had tremendous problems that are so hard to pin down. Most of my apps
that worked before either won't compile, or don't work (heck if they
crashed that'd be something).
For example, I made heavy use of the __attribute__ constructor feature,
but this does not activate anymore with WinMain
Thanks for opinions, etc, even flames.
