A small question: is a "middle" frequency timer available from djgpp run-time (say ~1Khz, i.e. a bit more than the 18.2 Hz of DOS), or does one have to reprogram a timer like the "pctime14" pack does ? The aim is to include such a solution into the standard library of GNAT/DOS (Ada.Real_time) to obtain a decent resolution. I just want to minimize the effort, since I have C (pctime14) and Ada solutions anyway, even though they temporarily alter the system.
