I have created a relatively simple test application that would create windows environment in text mode before I decided to throw in the towel with text mode and download rsxntdj. Now since I can't get that working either I am looking again at the previous code. I have had various problems before (possibly before I copied the template code from 'C++ in 21 days' in), but what happens now, RHIDE starts compiling the file containing the template definition functions 'temparr.cc' and hangs. Seems to hang in the same place since the registers are the same every time I break out with CTRL-C. It is possible that I misunderstood the syntax or it is different from standard or there is a bug. I have read what's in the info guide but I am unsure what the Borland and Cfront models mean. Non the less I have tried -fno_implicit_templates and -frepo flags under compiler options and compiler c flags but no change. The files are at http://www.connection.com/~samirw/files/c/textwin Any help greatly appreciated. Sam
