>my problem is, that I have a modified version of Allegro 3.12 (some >datatypes are different to the original allegro version). Is version 3.00 a stable version?? > >When I try to build WinAllegro with MS VC6.0, it returns over 500 warnings >(but no errors) - I can't believe that this is normal. Any idea about this >problem? 3.12 is the offical "stable" allegro version. All work has moved to the WIP version which is, in reality, as stable as the "stable" versions. I would suggest that you go to the allegro homepage http://www.sunsite.auc.dk/allegro for details on the WIP version which will be multi platofrm and may provide you with the solution you want already. The allegro mailing list (also described on the web pages) would be a very constructive place to ask your questions. >The modifications done for Allegro 3.12 are necessary to avoid datatype >conflicts, so this version has to be left in the states it currently >is. Is it not possible to use different types in your code rather than changing allegro? Neil -- Neil Townsend +44 (1865) 273121 neil AT robots DOT ox DOT ac DOT uk
