(look at the properties for dosprmpt.lnk) What are you talking about? Try using the Start->Run command to execute a console application, like try pinging yourself (ping 127.0.0.1 -n 10, for example). It still brings up a window that has the MSDOS icon in the upper left corner, even though it is running a console application. -- AndrewJ
