(I do not make a statement regarding comp.os.msdos.programmer.) If you think a tread is off-topic, the best you can do is ignore it or tell them where to go (which I seem to recall you do - good!). However some threads will never end and if it is off-topic, people will point that out after they are sufficiently bored. As I see it, this will help newbies going in the right direction while not putting out any first spark of interest/idea/whatever. Right, MartinS
