This question pops up a lot.  There is a problem in NT that when DJGPP programs
call other DJGPP programs, Win 2000 chokes.  Make is an excellent example of
this phenomenon.

Unfortunately, there's no workaround for it yet, so to use DJGPP you're either
going to have to make everything by hand/batch files, or make a dual boot
system with DOS or an older flavour of Windows.
