RHIDE 1.4 is very old and has some known bugs. I suggest to upgrade to
the latest version available from Andris Pavenis's site (the URL is in
the FAQ).

The latest port of Make is of version 3.7.9.1, mak3791b.zip. I suggest
to upgrade.

Look at the file _emacs.xmpl which comes with the Emacs distribution, it

_emacs file also shows lots of other useful customizations that your
users will probably like.

There are no known problems with Novell except those mentioned in the
FAQ. If you already read that, and if DJGPP works for you, then I don't
think you should worry.
