In regards to the response I posted a few hours ago, the reason I went from
still having problems with page-flipping straight into triple-buffering is
I'm trying to write a generic but effective engine for a vertical scrolling
shooter. Triple-buffering seems to be the best way in terms of animation and
speed, so of course I've been experimenting heavily in between posts. My
main question is whether triple-buffering is possible outside of Mode-X (I
want 640 x 480 w/ 16-bit color.).?
