on my 486 laptop w/ 20 MB memory, whenever I compile a program using gcc
or gxx it takes from 30 seconds up to 2 minutes for bigger programs. I
load himem.sys, and after that I load everything into high memory to free
up conventional memory. i don't use windows, just dos. could someone help
me with this problem?
