I'm a newbie to DJGPP, so this might be a stupid question. :o)
I'm trying to compile a shell I've written for DOS. It compiles fine,
but when I try to replace command.com with the generated executable, it
tells me that it can't run in DOS mode. I went to delorie and
downloaded the zip that has the progs for letting me run it, but in
order to use those, I have to run them before running my executable.
This means that I can't run my executable as a shell because I have to
start command.com and run this other program first.
Is it because I compiled it on a Windows machine, and then tried to move
the program to a DOS box? Or does DJGPP just not handle old-school DOS?
Just wondering. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
James
