Better solution:
When RHIDE starts up with a new project, it copies the settings from
c:\djgpp\bin\rhide.gpr

So do this:
  C:\DJGPP\BIN>rhide rhide
Tweak settings to your liking, and then exit.  All new projects you
create will have the new settings as the default.
