It's OS development for Dummies. As a compiler and assembler DJGPP (DOS) and GCC (Linux) plus NASM have been chosen. So it's indeed possible to develop the project on both host OSes: MSDOS/MSWin32 and Linux. But DJGPP for DOS produces COFFs and GCC for Linux produces ELFs. So I wanna make my DJGPP producing ELFs as well as COFFs. Clear? If you wanna know a bit more about the project, visit news:alt.os.development and http://www.mega-tokyo.com/osd > There's a section in the FAQ about ELF, I think. I have a PDF file with ELF layout. That's not I worry about. Alexei A. Frounze -- Homepage: http://alexfru.chat.ru Mirror: http://members.xoom.com/alexfru
