Much as I hate NT I do have to disagree about this statement, If you use
M$ DirectX then it certainly possible to write realtime games which run
fast under NT. I am sure there are many users who have run 3d action games
on windows 2000 a.k.a. NT 5.0 

But if your game is written for DOS then it most probably wont run if it
uses Vesa and depends on direct hardware access....
