It's still about an order of magnitude smaller than even a _service_
_pack_ for Microsoft Visual C++.

PM is not the issue; the issue is that programs that call
DOS functions run in their own virtual machine, and it's
very difficult for a pipe to work between VMs.

Good idea, especially now that the POSIX libc in djdev has been
ported to MinGW.
