Some programming languages can catch that kind of recursion.
Which is why the GNU project calls "its" kernel HURD.
  HURD is a HIRD of UNIX-Replacing Daemons.
  HIRD is a HURD of Interfaces Representing Depth.
A bit tougher to catch:
