don't need it.

If you want to work from true DOS, later, you'll need one more
package: cwsdpmi, the DOS DPMI server.

You have an older installation of DJGPP sitting on that machine, it
seems. Check out your 'PATH' for other directories with 'gpp' in their
names to see where it sits. Delete it, or at least take it out of your
PATH, and check again. It should work, them.
