Yes, I know that, but scandisk fails to fix
some errors. Which is why I'm looking for a
better alternative. I've seen and used fsck
(on Linux) before and I like it. Too bad there
isn't a DJGPP port.
Q: Will there be an fsck port for DJGPP?
If not, plz explain why.
BTW> You're right. rm didn't cause those
unmovable blocks. I remember I had a Windoze
crash before those things showed up and I was
using (bleagh!) Corel PhotoPaint.Apperently
it left some files open on the hard disk
which may be the "unmovable" blocks I keep
seeing each time I defrag my disk.
