People who do that should be aware that they lose the superb
index-searching capabilities of the Info readers.  Using that, it
should take you a few seconds to find any subject.  Without those
capabilities, finding something quickly in a large manual is much more
tedious.

My advice is to use one of the Info readers (the FAQ lists the known
ones, including one which is as graphic as it gets).  And if you still
think none of the available readers is good enough, pick up one and
improve it (or roll your own).
