Why did Microsoft call its new OS Windows?  The existence of
winconsole apps confuses a lot of newbies (especially in
c.o.m.programmer).
  "Why does it need Windows?  It runs in the DOS box."
Especially confusing is when a winconsole app runs, it runs with the
"MS-DOS" logo in the upper left corner.
