Where is the implementation for the class constructor?
template<class T>
Signal<T>::Signal(blah blah) { /* ... */ }
It needs to be in the same file.
Other than that, it is difficult to see what the problem could be.
Can you reduce the code to the smallest example that exhibits the same
problem, and post it here in full, together with the compile command
line and resulting errors?
