Write away.  Just bear in mind that it was Damian who posted the HURD
information, not me.
FWIW, Watcom can produce code for a wide variety of platforms (perhaps not a
wide variety of architectures) as well.  And I'm writing this on a Windows '95
maching using several compilers.

Big freakin' deal.
