This is a known problem, due to gcc 2.95.x being stricter on parsing assembly. Download beta 3 of libsocket 0.7.4 plus the first patch from here: http://www.phekda.freeserve.co.uk/richdawe/lsck/lsck_dl.htm The files you want are ls074b3.zip and ls074b3-patch1.zip. This version is much better than 0.7.3 - it works on Windows '98 for a start (well, mostly). Alternatively, you can get the binary release lsck073b.zip.
